The Sugar Producers Association of Honduras, or Asociación de Productores de Azúcar de Honduras – APAH, is pleased to share and inform about the sugar cane agroindustry in its wide variety of information and to expand your knowledge on any particular interest.
We are proud to share with you great achievements and multiple benefits that the Honduran sugar cane agroindustry has given to the country, among them, the fact that it is the main source of employment in Honduras, in its areas of influence. Generating in total, more than 200 thousand direct and indirect jobs and related activities, always with the intention of continuing to be the key to the development of the country and continue to benefit it every day.
We are also the first industry in Central America to have a Sustainability Report in accordance with GRI Standards, which you can download here.
We are also privileged to have developed the first Sustainability Guiding Principles Guide in Latin America in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), which allows us as an agribusiness to work under a responsible sustainability framework.
Thus, from the sugarcane agroindustry, we work to build the Honduras we all want.
