SUGAR AGRIBUSINESS Our history
The history of the sugar agribusiness in Honduras dates back to the end of the 19th century, with a sugar mill in the Cantarranas area, which produced very small quantities of sugar to supply the employees and inhabitants of San Juancito and part of Tegucigalpa.
Since that date, eight sugar mills have been installed in Honduras, of which, after various events over the years, seven are currently in operation.
