Ingredients
- 100 grams of butter
- 50 grams of unsweetened chocolate
- 200 grams of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 200 grams of flour
- 50 grams of cornstarch
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Beat the butter until creamy and add 150gr. of sugar while continuing to beat. Stir in the vanilla, egg yolks and melted chocolate.
In a separate bowl, mix and sift the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Add this mixture to the previous one, alternating with the milk until the dough is well mixed. Beat the egg whites until stiff and add the remaining 50gr. of sugar, then add them to the mixture. Cover a buttered baking pan and pour the batter into it, and finish baking for 40 minutes at 350ºC.
Garnish with a little whipped cream.
